Yesterday (22. 11. 2023), we were presenting at the first day of “good practice” organized by the Slovenian research and innovation agency. The department presented itself with plasma-treated vascular grafts for improved biocompatibility, its spinoff company Plasmadis d. o. o. marketing its innovative sensors for measuring gaseous plasma, and an innovative solution for the disinfection of water-transmissible viruses and bacteria (that was just granted a USA patent) with the collaboration of the National Institute of Biology and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (University of Ljubljana).
